Hair which is sewn at the top end by machine is known as weft. Hair sewn by machines are known as machine wefts Any weft usually weighs around 100 gms. Depending on their quality they are categorized into different categories. They include Remi wefts and Non Remi wefts.
Remi Wefts:
These are expensive type of wefts made up of Virgin Remi hair. These wefts are unidirectional and are characterized by double drawn hair, where the whole weft is made up of hairs of the same length.
Non Remi Wefts
This type of hair consists of tangle free non remi hair with the cuticles shaved off or smoothened out. The entire weft consists of hairs of the same length, with no short hair. This is a premium quality weft.
